About the event
As part of London Oratorio, Norrsång is so incredibly proud to be representing the Nordic tradition within this collective portrait of a city where over 300 languages are spoken — and where the choir has called East London home since 2012.
Conceived by artist and stage designer Es Devlin and developed with composer and performer Kieran Brunt, this large-scale choral work channels the sound of hundreds of singers from dozens of London's choirs — among them Norrsång, The Choir with No Name, Idrîsî Ensemble, London Community Gospel Choir, The London Lucumi Choir and Third Culture Collective — each carrying a distinct musical and linguistic tradition, from Balkan and Gospel to African, Bulgarian, Arabic, Hebrew and Nordic.
