Step into the magical world of Sankta Lucia, a cherished Scandinavian tradition that brings light to the darkest days of winter. Join Norrsång for an enchanting celebration where Lucia, crowned with candles, leads her procession of handmaidens in songs of hope and joy.
Our unique folk-inspired arrangements blend traditional Swedish melodies with rich harmonies, creating an atmospheric experience. This performance features some of our youngest choir members alongside adults, weaving together beloved Swedish Lucia songs with familiar Christmas carols in English. While this atmospheric ceremony welcomes all, its earlier timing makes it ideal for families. For those seeking a more contemplative experience, our evening performances may be better suited. While children are welcome at all performances, please note that all guests must remain seated during the ceremony for safety reasons, as real candles will be used.
